Pay Taxes Online

Pay Online

Before finalizing your payment you will be asked to agree to a processing fee amount. This fee is not charged or retained by the Collector, her office or Morgan County. Other businesses pay this fee from the profit of a sale, however, there is no profit in collecting taxes, therefore, according to RMSo 139.055 passed in 2005, the cost is charged only to those that choose to pay by electronic method.

Paid receipts will be mailed to the address on the tax bill within 7 working days. If you need an immediate receipt to license a vehicle, check with the license bureau you will be doing business with to see if they will accept on-line payment confirmation and the "unofficial" detailed tax bill printed from this website.

The functionality of the on-line payment process relies on several systems and electronic devices; therefore, the availability of the on-line payment system cannot be guaranteed at all times. The Morgan County Collector's Office encourages taxpayers wishing to pay their taxes on-line to do so in a timely manner before midnight December 31. Any tax payment not received by the due date will be subject to applicable late penalties, interest and fees.
