The Public Administrator is a public official that is elected for a four year term. Amanda Huffman is currently serving for the county of Morgan. Public Administrators are appointed by the Missouri Circuit Court, Probate Division as guardian and/or conservator for individuals who are unable to care for themselves or their property when there is no one else to serve. Public Administrators may also serve as Personal Representatives of a decedent's estate concluding their affairs and conservator of a minor's estate. Reporting to the court annually about the care and administration of each estate is required by Missouri Law.

Mission Statement
The Public Administrator is an advocate for their clients and will work toward improving the quality of life for those under guardianship while protecting their dignity and self-respect. Making decisions should always be in the best interest of the client. The Public Administrator should function as the financial planner and manager of care. This office will comply with the statutes of the State of Missouri.
